26 July 2018, Kolkata: A group of successful young entrepreneurs of Kolkata from varied business backgrounds have come together to launch a local App-Cab service brand ZUST GO – Simple, Sasta and Safe – in the city. The new App-Cab service flagged off its operations today with a fleet of three thousand cars in the city. The number of vehicles would be increased on daily basis and the services expanded to other cities of West Bengal.
To begin with, there would be four basic ride categories – Regular, Royal, Prime and SUV.
“ZUST GO is a simple, easy-to-use rideshare service for the citizens of Kolkata. It would also, to some extent, ease the high peak hours demand for App-Cabs in the city. ZUST GO will offer a value for money choice to the customers. Though the Kolkata market, like the whole of Indian market, is dominated by two major players, there is much room for new rideshare service providers to grow due to low market penetration and high demand,” said Mr Kamaleshwar Singh, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, ZUST GO.
The Indian rideshare, estimated at around US $360 million in 2018, is expected to grow (CAGR) at a rate of 20 per cent per annum to US $761 million by 2022. The current penetration of rideshare services in India is 2.5 per cent only.
“ZUST GO is a reliable technology-efficient transportation, that aims to provide a hassle-free and safe ride to the customers. Our drivers are trained, certified and proficient with 24×7 back office support. Our deep knowledge of Kolkata and its unique ways would help us extend innovative schemes to the customers,” said Mr Suresh Sethiya, Director, ZUST GO.
To being with, the App would be available in English and later different languages would be made available.
