India’s top most restaurant franchise management company Yellow Tie Hospitality has launched a new brand- “DHADOOM- Flavours and Fun”. Dhadoom is co-owned by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Bright colours, superhero inspired comic-theme based casual dining restaurant launched in Allenby Road, Bhowanipur. The 10th Dhadoom Restaurant was inaugurated by Celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. As the name suggests, Dhadoom is a fun brand which means “make some noise- Dhadoom”! It promises to make a blast of flavours in your mouth! With reasonable price.
Commenting on how the brand Dhadoom came into being and the seed of thought from where the idea generated, the Namak Shamak Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi stated, “I regularly visit Canada & I noticed that Poutine is a very regular street food. Poutine is basically handmade potatoes. Dhadoom is about happiness, flavours and fun colours with a simple ingredient Potato!” I thought why not add our Indian Desi Tadka with lots of interesting Indian & International gravies into fries and why not give those fries in a modern format & that made me believe the masses will love the food & that was inspirational behind creating Dhadoom.
Yellow Tie Hospitality has plans to launch 50 Dhadoom stores by end of 2018, of which the company plans to open 20 stores in Mumbai. Within first 30 days of start of 1st store, Dhadoom also opened 4 stores in Mumbai & 1 store in Mysore followed by launches in Ahedabad, Surat, Delhi, Banglore & Pune. The company has budgeted to invest 12 crores in the next 18 months to grow brand. The whole team of Back Eye wishes all the very best to this new venture Dhadoom in the street food capital of India.
