JIS Group organizes free of cost vaccination drive for everyone

JIS Group’s free-of-cost onsite vaccination drive has started today at Narula Institute of Technology campus (Agarpara) which will go on till 14th July 2021. This onsite vaccination will cover local residents, its students, faculty, staff members, alumni, and their families too. In the first phase of the vaccination, 10,000 people have been vaccinated by JIS Group, and the second phase of vaccination targets to vaccinates 20,000 people, which will end on 26th July 2021. Prior registration has to be done to get the vaccine.

From 15th July to 17th July vaccination will be organized in GNIT, Greater Kolkata College of Engineering & Management (Baruipur), and Dunlop Gurudwara. From 23rd July to 26th July, the last drive of the second phase will take place at the JISCE campus.  This commendable action by JIS group is believed to be a first-of-its-kind initiative where a university has organized an entirely free-of-cost vaccination drive recently.
Mr. Taranjit Singh, MD of JIS Group said, “Vaccination is the need of the hour, and while planning the drive apart from making it a free of cost facility we kept it open for all ranging from students to anyone who has not been able to get the vaccine yet. We are also planning a third phase of vaccination, which will be announced soon.”
