Pavlu Banerjee started his musical career in 1996, 1996 to 1999 he was a band member of Emotionz, reality took him on another journey and he got back to music composing by initiating opportunities for young talents through a BengaliBand called Kolkata Music Diary -The band was inspired by Mohiner Ghoraguli and since then it has featured many young singer songwriters from Kolkata.
The 1st album of Kolkata Music Diary was released in Jan 2015
He soon released his first Bengali solo rock album “Spondon Khoron” 2016 consisting of 9 original Bengali songs dealing with social issues like female foeticide (song name:Bhrunhottya),legalization of sex trade to stop human trafficking (song name : sonagachi),Rape(song name : Nirbhaya“written in the memory of the girl who was gang raped and murdered in Delhi Bus Rape case).
Since then he has been dedicating his music to keep the passion of music and bring about a positive change.
He has been featured and performed in Friends FM, WB Khadi Silver Jubilee Celebration, Doordarshan, Indian Museum, Eco Park Gala Event organized by EMAMI, Zeal TV and Alliance Francaise du Bengale,Rhythm Divine Poets organized 100 Thousand Poets for Change event and so on.
His first Solo English Music Album “Long Way To Go” had received wide appreciation and was released in 2017 and after 2 years his Second Solo “Hope Of A Better World” is releasing.

Hope Of a better World talks about the journey of love, the futility of war, the refugees, the idea of life and hope, the silence in atrocities surrounding us, the helplessness and the higher purpose of it all. The music album was released amidst intellectuals and music lovers recently. PavluBanerjee spoke about his inspirations behind his music, Why he decided to work on Hope of a Better world? And why he continued as a musician.
“In life, there comes a time when we all are struggling with our problems, we are alone and we need strength to survive the storm, world is losing its beauty and simplicity slowly; music has been my strength and also my medium to express what I have experienced as an artist. How I feel about the atrocities and how we can be hopeful to continue bringing about this positive change through music. I believe it is healing the world and us too, making us more ware towards the beauty of things and appreciate life more.” says Pavlu. The evening saw the release of his music video Live for the Moment and Refugee which was inspired by the refugee crisis and the war against humanity. The audience were moved and applauded the singer’s efforts. PavluBanerjee also sang some popular numbers like Hotel California along with his original songs from his albumWithout you, Live for the moment, Long way to go, etc.
